What are Numerator Templates?
Numerator Templates are prebuilt, guided Narrative flows designed to answer common business questions. Select a template, fill out the prompts, and Narratives will generate an analysis based on a series of topic cards designed to build a specific story depending upon your selected template.

Each flow is specifically designed to address a specific type of question.
Getting Started
To get started, just head to the Narratives landing page and pick from the available Numerator Templates.
On the next screen, you’ll find prompting that will help define the focus of your analysis. Once selections have been made, click Build and your results will be ready in just a few moments, organized into a clear and structured storyline.
Understanding the Topic Cards
Each Narrative Template is made up of their own analytic path, consisting of a handful of topic cards that will address different parts of the overall objective. Each card includes three core components:
Title (framed as a sub question tied to your overall business objective)
Data visualization (such as a table, chart, or other visual)
Read-as statement
These read-as statements are meant to help interpret the data shown by offering a plain-language example or takeaway tied to a specific metric or row.
